چکیده
In the vicinity of type-I/type-II crossover in conventional superconductors, vortices exhibit a nonmonotonic interaction, which leads to exotic vortex matter states. We perform molecular dynamics simulations on model superconductor intertype regime. field cooled approach, we examine transition homogeneous lattice (VL) into structure consisting VL domains and Meissner-state domains. The results show extraordinary stability against pinning strong dependence external magnetic field.

Vortex lattice transition in D-wave superconductors
Making use of the extended Ginzburg Landau theory, which includes the fourth order derivative term, we study the vortex state in a magnetic field parallel to the c axis. The vortex core structure is distorted due to this higher order term, which reveals the fourfold symmetry. Further, this distortion gives rise to the core interaction energy, which favors a square lattice tilted by 45 from the ...
متن کاملVortex charges in high-temperature superconductors.
Based on a model Hamiltonian with competing antiferromagnetic (AF) and d-wave superconductivity interactions, the vortex charge is investigated by solving the Bogoliubov-de Gennes equations. We found that the vortex charge is negative when a sufficient strength of AF order is induced inside the vortex core; otherwise, it is positive. By tuning the on-site Coulomb repulsion U or the doping param...
متن کاملVortex lattice pinning in high-temperature superconductors
Vortex matter in high temperature superconductors has many peculiar properties such as melting of the vortex lattice, creation of new vortex-liquid phases etc. These effects are not seen in conventional superconductors. This is mainly due to the fact that HTc compounds are strongly type two superconductors with Ginzburg-Landau ratio up to ~110 that makes thermal and quantum fluctuations more pr...
متن کاملPercolative vortex motion in high-temperature superconductors.
A model for percolative vortex motion in inhomogeneous superconductors is introduced. Near the percolation threshold the linear, frequency-dependent electronic conductivity is found to obey scaling laws. The percolation model for vortex motion provides an alternative explanation to the experimental finding of scaling in the electronic conductivity that is conventionally attributed to a vortex g...
